Safety on Brik
Brik is designed to be a friendly place for players of all ages.
- Filtered chat. In-game chat masks swear words and slurs and removes links, email addresses and phone numbers. Messages are rate-limited.
- No private messages. Players can only chat inside a game, where everyone in that server can see it.
- Moderated names and games. Usernames, game titles, descriptions and signs inside games are checked for inappropriate words. Custom game images are reviewed before other people can see them.
- Reporting. Any game or player can be reported from its page. Reports go to the moderators, who can remove games and ban accounts.
- Safe by design. Games run in a locked-down sandbox: a game cannot see your account, your sign-in or your other data, and cannot spend your Bits — every purchase is confirmed by you outside the game.
- No ads, no real-money purchases. Bits are earned for free (a daily reward) and are only used inside Brik.
For parents and schools
Brik is a games and game-creation site with no ads. Younger players should use Brik with a parent's permission. To ask a question or request removal of content or an account, email [email protected].
